Book Description Pakistan's economy has been mired with low economic growth and high inflation. This book takes a historical approach and addresses the fundamental structural constraints that need to be overcome to move the economy to a sustained and higher growth path through better economic management and much-needed policy reforms. The central question that the contributors to this volume seek to answer is how to reverse the current prolonged period of low growth and high inflation that Pakistan has experienced, and to suggest and implement measures that would decisively move the economy onto a more sustainable growth path.
